Software Applications Engineer ( C++ EDA ) sought be my client, an EDA development start-up based in the Midlands. Skills sought include: Applications engineer, customer facing skills, Software development, C++ programming, data flow graphs, compiler optimizations, high level synthesis, Logic Synthesis, VHDL/Verilog, Project management, SystemC, EDA software tools, Visual Studio C++, Linux with gcc, etc
My client are a growing EDA development start-up providing tools for the rapid development of electronic systems which close the Software / Hardware Divide.
They are looking for a a technical Applications Engineer to join them, contributing both technically with hands on development but also to be one of the main company representatives engaging customers, contributing to conferences and attending exhibitions.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Good programming experience for C++ based applications.
- Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog.
- Experience developing code for data flow graphs, compiler optimizations, high level synthesis a plus
- Project management experience.
- Previous experience of developing EDA software tools
